What a cutie! I love the first one – did you process it? It’s beautiful!
On the fireworks shots – I didn’t use a tripod, only because I didn’t have one…it would have been a LOT easier if I hadn’t been trying to hold the camera still, and they would have turned out better – if you look at the bigger version you can see how much blur from being hand held that there is. I shot them with my kit lens (18-50 mm on a Nikon D40) on manual mode with f/8 and ss of about 1.5 seconds. They would have looked better with some different settings but I tried longer exposures and they were too blurry without a handheld. And I probably took 300 shots during the 20 minute show, but only about 5 of them turned out very well.
What kind of camera are you using?
Thanks for stopping by – I love the baby pool pics. I almost posted a pic today of my youngest building with blocks wearing nothing at all – how unrefined it that? Good luck in the nest few weeks – it really does all fly by in that weird way that it feels like time is standing still but fleeting all at the same time.
